No big deal. I'm not a Rolex guy ( but I gladly would be) and I thought I read somewhere that the bezel on the Explorer 2 models didn't rotate.

I ended up selling my Samsung watch and phone and picked up an iPhone XR and Apple Watch 4. Android has the better phones, but Apple still has the best smartwatch, so I figured the iPhone was "good enough" and switched teams for awhile...

Maybe if Google puts out a Pixel watch and really steps up their wearable game, I will come back...

I've been waiting on parts to make some changes to my Seiko SRP779 diver, and I finally received the last pieces a few days ago.

This is where I started:

I'm not a big fan of the blue/red "Pepsi" bezel, so I planned all of my modifications around a replacement. Changes include a new bezel, bezel insert, crystal, chapter ring, and a 'pilot gauge' style hand set. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the red seconds hand, but I'll live with it for a while before I decide. Here are the "after" shots:

I ordered this Vostok Amphian on March ,14th and I'm still waiting on it.But it IS coming from Russia. So since I ordered it I've been looking at all kinds of other watches from Seiko to Skagen and everything in between. Then ifoundtheses really cool Shark Mesh watch bands on eBay and Amazon that look way cool.

The Shark Mesh brqnds come in stainless and black. I would love to have an all black watch with that bracelet. But I'm also looking for suggestions on my next watch. I prefer automatic movement watches. Thinking about a Seiko diver. Rolex guys please don't humiliate me here. I did the Vostok watches because they're like the SKS/ AK of watches. They're not as close on acxuracay as other watches but they put up with lost of punishment. Sound familiar?
