Stainless bolt action in 308

Gave my stainless remington model 7 in 308 to my Dad. He loves it great guns if you can find one. Super light. maybe 6 pounds with scope.

Ruger makes great guns just stay away from the 308 SFAR. I haven't fired mine yet but the original batch had a lot of feed issues. Still don't know if I got a good one or not need to take it to the range one day.

I hear you man. You and I both probably have all we really need to be honest. Want is a different story.

I kinda want a NDM 86 Dragunov but I'd never spend 10 grand on a "sniper rifle" that cant hold a 2 inch group.

It's a sample size of one, but mine has been 100% reliable on the #2 gas setting. Does your gas block contact the handguard?

Nah but it just barely avoids doing so.
