I would nix the idea of sending cash by USPS. They lost two letters for me just last month. One contained a check to Macon and the other was to me from a Superior Court Clerk containing a deed!

The automotive and motorcycle trader sites, local news paper, etc...all charge more than a buck to sale your stuff.

Want to sail your goods at the local flea market? Better cough up some some dough for a table.

Want to unload a bunch of high end glocks and kahrs at the gun show? Fat Matt will charge you $75 for a table.

Only a dollar to peddle your hi-point on the ODT? Now that's is a deal!!!

I would recommend adding auction functionality to the site and taking a commission from those sales but leave the clasifieds free. Also if you could somehow setup your own payment service like PayPal, but is gun friendly that we could use, that could make you some money.

If you could just do a one day charge for access to the site, say on "Give Away Day", $1 for the day, you'd generate at least $60,000 from the 'worms in the woodwork' wanting freebies.

I was wondering when you would be around to yell at me, took longer than expected. Have you ever considered that, maybe, I really don't know what I'm going to do and this post is genuine? Should I never ask anyone's opinion on anything?

Wasn't there an option to pay and be ad free at one time? I believe I paid for that instead of opting for the supporter badge. I felt like I was supporting the site and getting less ads which was a win for me even though I didn't get the icon. I also buy new shirts everytime they come out.

Point being I spend money here but I don't have an icon and I'm still considered a nonsupporter?

Yes, you are supporting the site with that stuff but it's technically not part of the "Supporter" setup we have now. But I could change the no ads over or figure something else out if we actually go through with this.

Another .02 of mine is that there should be a lot more freebies for supporters on give away day and alot less for people who dont give anything to the site.

I don't blame anyone for that, it's over a year away, maybe you should chill on the "ODT10 shaming" until at least 6 months out
