I guess I’m just trying to figure out what that principle is exactly. Don’t pay for something that you can get free somewhere else? If that’s the case, can I ask how your experience compares between odt vs the free places you list? Better luck selling other places or here generally speaking?
The principle is this has never been a pay to play site. I think we had this agreement in the beginning. You let me sign on, become a member, and I in turn agreed to abide by the rules. It was a mutually beneficial thing for both of us. You got another member added and I got to view the for sale/trade page and deal away. Paying to play wasn't a part of the deal. It has become necessary for the sites survival to change that. I get it, it's just not for me. It's not what I agreed to.

As far as selling, I have usually listed guns and ammo for sale here to avoid the hassle of shipping, but not always. When I list parts/accessories I almost always list them elsewhere. The truth is they sell quicker and with much less hassle on other sites that are more firearm type specific than the ODT. I usually purchase accessories from those sights too mainly because I find it much easier to purchase and have items shipped direct to my door than drive to purchase parts that can be easily shipped. I would say the experience/satisfaction is pretty equal between the ODT and other sites and I choose the site based on what I am selling/looking for.

who quit buying gas when it went up 65 cents a gallon?

A lot of people. They left their pickups., full sized SUVs, big block V8s parked along side of the road. A complete revolution in transportation occurred. American companies that refuse to follow the market went bankrupt, Japan effectively took over the world automobile market.

Point is, it comes back to traffic.

Which we (anyone on this site) do not have the capability to project.
