The owner is simply looking for a way to maintain the site's revenue stream without negatively impacting site usability and he floated an idea that's worked successfully on a lot of other similar sites. Implying that this entire thread was just some sort of manipulative, back door supporter drive is not only ridiculous, it's also kind of an asshole thing to say about the guy.

The competition charges less. You'd have to offer a better service. Some guns I sell on gunbroker and pay their fee because I get something ODT cannot provide, and asshat moderators ain't it. Point is you're going to have to do more than just charge a buck. You have to offer more at the same time.

Instead of running this poll you should just ask armslist whether they think you should charge a fee.
