Grew up with a 72 C10 longbed, white roof, weird green color. Positraction rear, big re tread mudders, took that thing places a jeep had issues with....

It had a 307 that cranked with just a bump of the key. By the late 90's we had to sand the points every time it rained much.

So the truck is painted and back on the road. Still have a couple of issues, mostly I want a LS motor in it...

Also I recently redid and updated the gage cluster.... added led lights and painted the needles and added a couple of gages.

Did you cut out and add the wood bed? I have had many 71-72s only my stepsides had wood beds

It is a steel bed with wood inserts. Yes I cut the inserts and then put them in. I got the idea from a vendor at Jeepfest.

Very good. I actually liked the blue. I'd had a hard time cutting the frame, but it looks good. Short beds are sexy. You could bore and stroke that 350 to a 383. I don't think you'd be disappointed. Or just get a crate motor. I actually had a 383. One thing led to another and I wound up with 434, never looked back. But I'm an adrenaline junky
