The scrap yard isn't going to scrap them, they will flip them for a large profit.

I got a friend who is an artist,depending on how much you want he may be interested.
This is all SS and if you ever done any metal work,you know SS is a bitch to work with vs mild steel

I used to do stainless steel art as well, back when I had access to a shop. I bought a 4x8 sheet of SS that was thick like that for a project, it cost me around 400 bucks if I'm not mistaken.

That's 700 bucks for a 4x8 sheet of 10 gauge, which is about an eighth of an inch thick.

If you could, find out the exact thickness.(with a set of calipers or micrometers) I may be able to sell them but it may be a hard sale without knowing the grade of the steel.

I'll see if I can get a micrometer. What's the best way to determine grade?

Maybe for a pellet gun lol.When you do find out the exact thickness,I would be a buyer,How bad has it oxidized?

Not good for targets. Most fab shops gonna want clean looking. But is not scrap for sure
