Quick cleaning question

Looking for some stainless revolver cleaning advice. I picked up a nice stainless revolver and havent put many rounds through it. Upon cleaning it after my first two times to the range, I noticed that the residue on the front (barrel side) of the cylinder is not coming off completely. Any good tips, cleaning products etc. Much appreciated.

This is one reason I dont like revolvers. Ima clean freak when it comes to my guns. I always used a brush and scrubbed the area. Its real tough to get that area very clean .

same thing here. I have heard that really, really, fine steel wool will work, but dont have the testicular fortitude to attempt it.

I think I'll try some 0000 steel wool on it and see how it goes........

Try the Kleen Bore Lead Away Cloth.

I use 0000 steel wool and Ballistol on mine and love the results

Flitz polish on soft rag will get rid of it. Mother's metal polish works really well, too. Don't use either if it is a matte stainless. Be sure to swab out the chambers really well afterward.
