The way it’s supposed to work is this- Suppressor made in Texas, sold in Texas to Texas resident, never crosses state lines. The theory is because the federal government only has authority to regulate interstate commerce, they have no authority. It works in Montana, for weapons built and sold there. Not aware of any other examples. This law is basically designed to force the Supreme Court to rule one way or the other. Riddle me this: Suppressors are REQUIRED in European countries that allow hunting with rifles, but here a movie with a bad guy with a suppressor scared the $hit out of all the mommas back in the 1930’s, so they’re damn near illegal to own in a lot of states. Weird.
