Thanks ltfirhunter. That's encouraging to hear. My AA#9 should give similar results to 2400. Just curious: what distance were those smith mod 19 shots? I think I need a bit of practice before I'd be confident hunting with m* 4 1/2" Blackhawk!

Reloading Winchester 357 mag 158g JHP for deer?

They were taken from distances of just under the stand out to a little over 100yds. Most was around the 25-35yd mark.
Ok that settles it. Gotta go to the range and practice!
I'd be lucky to hit the side of a barn at 100 yards with a 4" revolver.
