Nope. I do not buy that answer. I grew up working on cars that had glass fuses. Never saw anything like that in the older guys tool boxes, or being used, or in the cars. I won't rest until I figure out what they are. Unless I forget about this thread when I see something shiny.

they came out of a '66 F100 I had years ago. Every fuse had them
unsure if they were on it from factory or if a previous owner put them on.

got some fuses around here somewhere,Wrap chewing gum paper around em to make it home,the foil type.

just dont get the idea of using a 22LR cartridge to get you home. Get that sucker hot and get lead poisoning of the nut would be my luck
