Restaurant to have an EPIC meal with friends

I think you might have hit on something. You didn't really explain why it was "epic". Simply mentioned a few menu items. What exactly (other than the food) about the atmosphere was so appealing that you want to re-create? It might help with suggestions. To your point, it may not matter where you go if the company is right.
dislcaimer: I've NEVER had a meal at any restaurant I'd describe as "epic".

Anyway, what are you looking for in 'atmosphere'? Loud, quiet, open, private, light, dark, themed, family, or not, etc....

"EPIC" to me is eating my weight in food! I would think in Atlanta, that would be Fogo De Chao (meat - all you can eat), or Nori Nori (sushi - all you can eat). Maggiano's Little Italy is very awesome Italian food, spent 150.00 in there for me and the o'lady, every bit worth it. Cheesecake Factory is some awesome food, and the cheesecake, damn the cheesecake!!! And a place we just discovered Two Urban Licks!!!!

I'd do either Fox Bros. BBQ (they put the EPIC in epic food, laid back, cool vibe) or Six Feet Under (good food, unique kinda place). Can't go wrong with either one.
