Rib Roast

We had so many of these from past sales, we opted to have a Standing Rib Roast for Thanksgiving rather than turkey, but like turkey, there was a lot left over! Still worth picking up s few more for, you know, Chistmas, New Years, National Donut Day, Happy Highway Haulers Day, ...etc.

I surround mine with carrots, mushrooms taters, and pearl onions..I also baste with garlic infused butter every 45 minutes.
I have had up to 10 guest over for dinner years ago and the thing I like about a boneless Rib Roast, is I cook it all rare. If someone wants it cooked more I simply soak it in the Au Jus sauce , until it is to their liking

Don't forget to mix the Sour Cream with Course Horse Radish for dipping
We got 3, so something like 15 pounds. Would have bought the store out but we have a 1/2 cow on the way down from PA later this month, so saving room.
