I first bought a Benchmade Hawk for $100 like new. Originally $300. One of the first models, the newer ones are differentially heat treated like RMJs. It's a beast and I'd def wouldn't want to be on the business end of it. I finally as was tempted to buy a RMJ S13, shorter model of the shrike, at the Blade Show this year. Got it for $365 on Emergency medicine guy discount. Sweeeeeeeeeet hawk! Plan to carry the Benchmade in my truck and the RMJ on my BOB. Sure a Fiskars X7 would be more practical for woods travel and I'll prob get one, but of u ever hold an RMJ you won't want to let it go. It's just downright BAD ASS! And yes pricey, but they're one tough tools... And I can afford it
