Tech giant Salesforce trying to impose their gun agenda on their customers by instituting a new policy "barring retail customers from using it's technology to sell semi-automatic weapons."

While Salesforce may not be a widely known company to the general public, it is huge within the business community. Over the past 15 years Salesforce has grown substantially from a simple cloud-based customer database, to a tool that offers solutions for every aspect of a business. Their product is a leader in many areas and many companies rely on Salesforce technology.

How do you tell your existing customers to stop selling certain products or they can't use your tool?

As big as this company is, what is to stop them from holding the legislature hostage over a bill they want passed/blocked. From reading this article they have already done it.
These types should be taken to court and sued on the basis that they are forcing their customers to trample on peoples 2A rights.
This company is also telling customers that aren’t directly involved in firearm sales, that they shouldn’t do biz with companies that are. So now they want to regulate what your customers do ??!!
The gall and audacity of these types really disgust me. They have no legitimate right to regulate what i do, legally or morally.
The magnitude of this company has reached makes it all but impossible to drop them and pick up another company that offers the same services.

There's a lot of companies doing this these days and have been for a number of years. All social media is anti-gun. All the biggest tech giants are too. Merchant account service providers consider firearms and accessory markets as high risk and either don't allow you to use their services for such or charge a premium to use. Everyone knows about E-bay and Paypal (one and the same). And don't even think about shopping for general commercial and product liability insurance - holy cow! The NRA's business alliance is very helpful in finding companies that aren't mixing their political views with there business practices.

I've found through in-depth research that local insurance companies are very happy to do business with the gun club (for example) and we received a rate 1/3rd that of the "NRA endorsed" insurance company for better coverages. NRA insurance or endorsed insurance is a money making scam for the NRA. Do your homework.

How would the liberals like it if a telephone company owned by conservatives blocked all the phone numbers associated with abortion clinics or Planned Parenthood and announced a new policy saying that you could only use your telephone for pro-life purposes, not pro-abortion purposes ?

Just to clarify, I did find a better insurance provider through other channels than the ones through the NRA business alliance. But, the merchant account was through the ba and has been a very good partner with affordable fee's.

More corporate virtue signalling by idiot CEOs. Just like there's other jeans than Levi's, there's other salesforce automation software out there.

A migration is usually anything from expensive, to very expensive, and can take several to many many months. It's not just a glorified rolodex.
