I'm not a watch snob by any stretch, but I purchased a Citizen Eco last year and will have to say I have really enjoyed it! I will probably never wear another Fossil!

I don't know anything about the quality, but I will say that Fossil has some cool looking watches for about $100
eco-drive its citizen's trade name for their solar technology. it charges itself.
charging with movement, thats knows as a "self winding watch." it uses a weight on a bearing in the watch that winds the movement.
