If you ask me, it's all about habit. When I wore one many years ago I felt weird without one. I stopped wearing one 20+ years ago and I don't miss it. When I always have a phone, it's just a waste of money. I don't like jewelry and only wear a wedding ring. Chuck's won't spend $200 on a tax stamp, so forking out big money for a watch makes no sense when he doesn't even wear watches.

pier pressure may sway the vote maybe..or He is trying to impress...yes i feel bare without one..But i dont rely on the phone as much as others do..its just a personal preference

right now i want to ease into it and spend less than 300 im thinking. but if i do get one i want one that will last me a good while and is something i like. doesnt have to be a 300 dollar watch either, some of the models i like so far are between 150 and 200

Batteries are cheap and last forever nowadays also so i wouldn't let it deter me. Most places that replace em for ya will clean your watch up well also.

batteries not needed with the amble supply of the sun no need to take it to someone..citizens have a five year unconditional warranty

I just meant for other watches and not specifically the Citizens. If i really liked a watch these would not be make or break decisions for me at least.
