Proud daddy moment for sure. I agree, get some legos or some other building blocks. Just be prepared to inevitably step on one a few times. And cherish these moments man because they really grow up fast. It's like you blink and they're not even in to that stuff anymore.
I read a quote that hit me hard the other day. It basically said if your kids want to play with you, stop what you're doing and play with them. Put the phone down, turn the TV off, etc, and play. Because one day, they won't want to play with you anymore and you'll wish they did.

As a father of 3 grown daughters now, I feel compelled to make sure you know.......they're smart! And smarter than you think!!
Case in point, my oldest, back when she was about 4, was riding with another adult that blew the car horn at someone........my oldest asked point blank and calmly.......(QUOTE) "Was that a stupid bitch? My daddy blows the horn at stupid bitches"
They're ALWAYS listening and learning. Even when we might not want them too!
That's a beautiful baby girl you have there, and a blessing that will provide a lifetime of laughs, smiles, and maybe a heartbreak or 2..... but daddy's girls are something special. Very little on this planet compares.

Definitely. I remind myself to take it all in every day. I'm blessed that my shop is at home, and I can walk right over and play with her anytime during the day. The only difference in her working on that, and me working on that, is that she didn't use 4 f-words before giving up and walking away.
