Nothing special. Even when you send a suppressor back for service I am under the impression that one would literally stick it in a box and send it. Not sure if the rules for declaring a firearms exist.

UPS accepts firearm parts for shipment, provided the part is not a "firearm" as defined under federal law; the contents of the package cannot be assembled to form a firearm; and the package otherwise complies with federal, state, and local law.
