I get that, just wondering if NFA had to be shipped a certain way due to how regulated the items are.

USPS does not consider a silencer a firearm, and can be shipped like any other item.

That's not true for silencers. At least that's not what silencerco told me about shipping a silencer to them.

That sounds right I don't deal with nfa items just the standard non badass toys

Silencers are considered "other" firearms. Not handguns, not long guns. Meaning that most carriers have no idea what to do with them. I ship them the way I do lower receivers. USPS Priority with Adult signature required.
