They really like leaves, ivy, etc. Always need to keep your eyes peeled.
Got lucky and saw this one before I cut and coiled up this un-needed fiber slack. He was already starting to run away but still a close call!

Thankfully, most of them would rather run. I've heard that copperheads and cottonmouths can be more aggressive though. I remember one guy took out two big copperheads that were striking at his tractor. They didn't duck when they went under the bushhog.

Yep, I'd tell my kids that they were "wrestling" as well.
