Shots fired!

Had a chance to sneak on to my lease at a pre scouted Hickory hot spot. I took my foul weather rifle. RAR Compact with a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7×32 Rimfire scope. Shooting the CCI 40gr Sub Sonic HP load. Sighted dead on at 25 yards. Took these 3. One on top was a behind the shoulder shot-fell out of the tree stone dead. The other two were head shots. These guys are hard to see in the leaves. Took me about 30 minutes to sneak 50 yards to get in among them. All three were shot from the same spot but all were in different trees.

Yes. They are cleaned and in freezer.

I got 2 early last year covered in ticks... they ate fine but kind of rough looking.

Early January I picked off 3 and not a single tick/flea on any of them... I prefer colder weather for the tree rats lol

yep
cold weather Dec,Jan,Feb, or after the first freeze.

Only the one on top. The other two were clean as a whistle.
