Shout out for Lowes as they just put in parking spaces for Veterans.

My local Lowes now has designated parking for military Veterans.

I discovered this a week or so ago in Athens. Hats off to Lowes, and Home Depot if they do the same.

Same as any pregnant woman parking. Not enforceable but pretty low class to use it incorrectly.

Nice thought but wouldnt a veteran, barring an injury that prevents it, park further back in the parking lot so that mothers with kids, the elderly, etc could park closer to the store? Being a soldier doesnt stop when you leave the service. It's a mentality that is shown through small actions in our daily lives. Not to **** on what is meant as an honorable gesture by these companies but this veteran appreciation stuff has gotten a little out of hand. Dont think any of us served to have our balls tickled with a feather every time we turn around.
