Only bad part about the frame is getting them titled and insured. Factory bikes such as Harley,West coast and other manufacturers it’s easier to get titles and insurance is a helluva lot cheaper

I’ve seen folks take and cut the neck out of a Harley and added stretced an raked a chopper and titled it as a Harley.

BNB it’d probably just be easier to find a running shovelhead and hard tail it
