Late war 3.7 mil SA. I built up from a ceremonial rifle. Shoots lights out. VAR barrel.

Thanks, its one of the conversions. Originally built Oct 42, and turned into a M1D in Aug 52. Just got the scope last week. Planning on zeroing Saturday at the ODT meet at CMP range.

I wonder if the neighbors would mind if I put 8 tracers in the air right now?

You got it. I'm bringing 2 or 3 (the sickness is strong in me) and your welcome to shoot any or all of them. Considering my neighborhood, tracers would bring Brookhaven Police calling about 20-30 minutes.
