Good looking gun! I'm headed back to anniston myself to browse. You never know what you'll find in the racks even with the slim selection. I heard the was a field grade with a marlin barrel in the racks not long ago.

My latest. SG M1D in a CMP stock. Didn't try to remove any of the CMP/Dupage finish. This is after about 6 coats of BLO.

Thanks, its one of the conversions. Originally built Oct 42, and turned into a M1D in Aug 52. Just got the scope last week. Planning on zeroing Saturday at the ODT meet at CMP range.
