Sig Question

Picked up a Sig Pro 2009 a while back for what I believe was a good used price. Don't know much about Sig. Looks alot like the 2022 except the rail. Came with two 10rd mags, can other model mags work in this? Any cheaper options for mags than Sig? What fits on rail?

Mecgar mags are cheaper, tac light on rail

Sig Pros only take Sig Pro mags. The rail doesn't fit anything mainstream unless you find an adapter. I have no idea who would make one though.

The new US made 2022s come with mecgar mags. Thats probably your best and cheapest bet. There is a specific company that made rail accessories for the 2009. I can't recall the name. May want to ask the guys at the SIG forum.

So where was my 2009 made? Frame says Switzerland and slide says NH. Have not seen any mags for less than $35-$40.

I'm more of a 2022 guy, maybe I can help. I have never seen a Pro series gun sold in the US that did not have NH on the slide. Just something they do. If it has a blued look to the finish it is Ifalon which is not done in the US. Also, does it have an internal extractor? If so, not US. As for the mags, $30-40 is about right.

Thanks. Seems like they are popular enough for someone to make some aftermarket mags in the sub $30 range.
