Sig Romeo 5 Durability?

I have an elderly uncle who due to macular degeneration is learning to shoot left handed right now at 82 for the upcoming deer season. He has no problem shooting less than Minute of Deer with the dot on an AR I loaned him. Of course he is a Fudd (God Bless Him) and .243 Win is his minimum for deer. Will the Sig Romeo Handle .243 Win recoil from a 6lb rifle for let’s say 50 rounds of practice and maybe 2 to 3 shots on deer. I have a “light” load of 40grs IMR4350 worked up for the rifle.

How about it? Can I trust that Sig to hold up?

We sell the Romeo5 at TruPrep and have had great luck with them. I can remember only 1 being returned in close to 3 years.

i have used romeo 5's with great success in brush on 243, 7mm mag 300mag and a few others recoil usually not a problem its usually a ramp or tailgate that does them in

Some guy did a review on them a while back and literally shot one with a shotgun and it still turned on Lolol I have a few and love them

I ran one on a range gun for 3 years, it got used atleast 2x a week, no issues. Sold it to a buddy who's still using it.
