The 320 and 250 use the same plastic shell/grip module(and probably same chassis / rails). All it took was a striker trigger system and a wee bit different slide for a striker and boom, 320. It makes sense, because of no need to completely change tooling to make them. It's simple and easy.

The P250 was a DAO-type pistol with an external hammer. The P320 is striker-fired.

The P250 was an unreliable POS. The P320 is good to go.
