So, what trigger do you have in your AR's?

This.

I've had the ALG and it's nice for the price, but the G2S can be had for about $135-140 and it's very similar to the SSA. Well worth the extra money.

I got my SSA on sale shipped for $180: I might not have it if I had to pay full price. But it is my favorite trigger now.

All of mine have polished single stage triggers. I did the polishing myself with a Dremel and a buffing wheel. The main argument for doing it this way is it is cheap; the lowest cost way to improve the trigger. I have too many AR pattern rifles to start replacing all the triggers.

I don't really shoot match grade stuff in my rifles and I very rarely shoot from a rest, and these triggers are good enough for me. I can shoot about 2 MOA (2" at 100 yards) with my setup, from the prone position with just a sling, while using cheap PMC ammo and a red dot. That's good enough for me.

Now if I was trying to shoot holes in holes, with match grade ammo, a powerful scope, from a rest, with the butt supported on a sand bag, then maybe I'd spring for a nicer trigger.... Or if I just really wanted one. But for real world use, they aren't necessary. You'll see more improvement for less money by just working on your fundamentals.

But, if you want one and you've got the money....

You guys just want to watch me spend money! :)
Ok, I'm considering the G2S now... let's see what the fun gun fund says...
