I am fortunately at a point that I don't have to sell any of my toys. But I have been so in the past. I feel your pain. Thanks man. I'll miss it, but I need to put my money elsewhere right now.

One day, sir. One day.I am fortunately at a point that I don't have to sell any of my toys. But I have been so in the past. I feel your pain.
I'm on the same VTR1000 I've ridden since I was 17, it's not really built for track. Got some pennies stowed away for a fuel injected bike, looking for a decent 600 for the track.
I tried to wave at someone today while I was lane splitting aand nearly ripped my arm off on a rear view mirror.

Want 3 grand tomorrow?
Can't help but laugh at guys with their out loundish power claims. Been racing bikes, and stretching the realms of reality on them for a few decades. But some of these guys have me beat, they can do things with bikes even the most professional riders at the peak of the sport can not do. SMDH.
Just a little something I've done with my stock motor, stock wheelbase, factory hand clutch and foot shift, Hayabusa. 9.56@143mph
Adding an air shifter this week. View attachment 1120291
Which claims? The only one I saw that was a bit of a stretch was the FZ1 at 175mph... The FZ1 is a stout bike, but even with a pipe and a tune, the 160's is about all they can do...
The power on today's bikes are insane. The 1198 that I had was putting down 162hp and 92ft/lbs of torque at the wheel on the dyno, in a bike that weighed about the same as an R6... And the bikes today, are a good step up in power from that, many of them pushing 180hp+ at the wheel in stock form...
If not for modern electronics packages, we would be picking a lot more riders out of ditches and trees...
It's why you are seeing 600 class sales plummet. Literbikes are no longer as scary as they used to be. With ABS, Traction and Launch control, variable power modes, etc... You can take that fire breathing monster, and with the flick of a switch transform it into a tame pussycat...
