Wife got the old model 60 and I moved to the 3 series. I use a 360PD and a 386 7 shot. I've carried those 3 series enough to wear the finish off them. The 60 and 360 are loaded with silver tips even though I can shoot 357s in the 360. I use 357s in the 386 with the first shot a shot shell. I use both for riding a motorcycle or the tractor. The shot shell is for the farm and snakes. I wish they'd make a 3 series in 45 Colt and not break the bank. Yes I know they make a 329 and a 325. The 45 Colt would be perfect and I could use full power loads. I missed a deal on a 329 years ago, $600, and been kicking myself ever since. Somebody changed the sights to RR and WO, just what I'd want. The 329, I'd have to use light loads to be accurate and the 45ACP doesn't have the power the 45 Colt has. I've also been looking at the model 69. A little heavier than the 329, but it's a 5 shot. Just haven't found the right deal

Shot placement, confidence. I shoot this way better than than 2 CZ's I have and a Micro9 Kimber.
Light weight and easy to carry various ways.

They dont jam. I can hold my 340pd in my coat pocket and covertly eliminate or severely disable the threat with no concerns about the gun hanging up, no slide to be moving around, just straight business
Back when dinosaurs roomed the earth, I regularly went about searching for bad people, who had done bad things. I carried a 3 inch model 65 as a primary and a model 36 as its back up. Never felt under gunned. In todays world I routinely carry either a g43 or G48 but on occasion I put on my 4 inch python and my colt cobra to get me home. There’s something comforting about a wheel gun.
