Something happened and pre-owned are now more than new one are

Justa a short rant here about ongoing stupidity in the classified section. So I am looking for a gun for a project and I open a post. So the gun is pre-owned and priced at a ridiculous price. Imagine that. LOL I go over to Buds Gun Shop and look because they are a good reference as to what they should be selling for or around. There it is price 50 dollars cheaper than our classifieds are have his at. There is a small bag of bullets with the package. I PM him and politely tell him he might want to adjust his price if he wants to it. He reply was " Well I am not going to give he rest of the stuff for free " LOL. Thing is it's a gun that 80 percent of the membership would even consider buying in the first place. I have plans for a gun as such so I don't want to start out with a new one. A project if you will.

You can always tell a you gun owner or a ignorant one just by the price they advertise there at. This one was so out of wack I just had to share and rant just to get it out of my system. Just to top it off it was the entry level gun for that platform. LOL What get into peoples heads. If someone knows please fill me in on the secret.

I find this hard to believe.

I am bit late to this thread, but let me again remind everyone, IF THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH...DON'T BUY!!! No one is forcing you to buy something, and just because you complain, doesn't mean the price will drop. Pass it buy, and look for something else. Why should you care if their property sells and at what price? I don't, but I do like reminding the "ranters" in a good humored way! lol

its all because we lie to the wife about the price!

One of my first trades on the ODT was with someone with very high triple digits. Hetold me that If there is a mention of full MSRP just move. If they insist just offer half just to piss them off. If it is reasonable you may be able to negotiate.

The real question is when you find a "Deal" on something and sell it later do you try to pass the "Deal" on or jack the price up?

I paid $250 for a S&W M28-2 a few years back. Are you saying I should sell it for $250 because I got a deal? Why would anyone do that?
Heck NO! Why I'd reckon I could give ya 'bout tree fiddey at lease! That waze you'ze could make you a little folding munny thar young feller.
