Castle nut stake will pose no problem. Just a little more effort at the start.

Breaking the stakes when unscrewing the nut is a non-issue. No real extra torque required either. The trick is getting the old endplate off the receiver extension. The stakes tend to de-form the endplate just enough that it interferes with the threads. Slow, steady, and patient...or cut it off with a dremel.
