I wasn’t planning to ever buy one of these pistols and watching the videos reinforced this. I will say that I do have one of their SAA revolvers and a 1911 and they are both extremely well made as far as fit and finish and the 1911 is one of the most accurate guns I have fired. Maybe they only care about the high dollar products!

Standard Mfg make really high quality guns, so I expect this is also the same quality. I kind of like this idea for a “belly” gun, but the open trigger guard also doesn’t set well with me. I suppose the reason is to limit size of the gun?

It has about a 20lb trigger pull so there's no chance of it going off accidentally. It really is a belly gun. The trigger is so freaking heavy and snaps back (hands down worst trigger of any gun made, it's impossible to pull with one finger) you inherently jerk it. It's a cool novelty but that's it
