The problem is that ARs aren't that hard to build. ODT members put them together on their kitchen table using vice grips and electrical tape...
Now if you were talking AKs it might be cost-effective. No...never mind, kids hammer those things together by candle light in caves, so they must not be that hard either.
What about making soap? Every one needs to wash their crack.

Hello all I was just wanting to know if the AR builds are a good thing to start a home base business I have a lot of people asking about ARs and are they affordable to build or purchase and I was thinking of starting up a at home AR build/purchase business from my home is the market good enough to do that or is it already saturated with at home custom builders already please any info or helpful suggestions will help thanks

IMHO...My first thought was that there are a lot of businesses that have low end AR's for sale and they may be difficult to compete with, if I were going to venture into that market (and did not require the profit to live off of), I would probably look at building them to order, maybe even making a sort of ala carte menu for someone to pick and choose what they want. I think that alternative would be that you may end up with several $400 to $600 dollar rifles waiting on someone to be interested enough to purchase them...Just my thoughts...
