What is so hard about securing your firearms in your vehicles? Where are all these hypotheticals and unrelated comparisons coming from?

The OP didn't say to secure your weapon in your vehicle. He said not to leave it there at all. Which means in many cases not having the weapon at all. That's a non starter for me.

A criminal is going to be a criminal. Doesn’t matter if they get 5 days or 25 years. Once they’re released, they won’t be able to get a job and they will continue to steal and partake in criminal activities. Crime pays it always will. If there is no crime there will be no courts or police. This is an ongoing cycle that will NEVER be fixed unfortunately.
