Bought some fresh hog sausage yesterday from a friend of mine. Fixed breakfast this morning from t, as my Grandson's say " It's hard to beat Papa's breakfast. Fried eggs the way my Mom taught me to cook too. That sausage was out of this world too.

Kindly makes my bowl of grits look poor.....
Heck yeah I like grits but with salt. pepper, and butter. My wife puts sugar in hers, nope I ain't doing that.
Hungry.
Add some sausage, egg and cheese and that's a pretty good breakfast right there.
I had Brinner Saturday night ,
"Breakfast/Dinner" and it was awesome. . Scrambled eggs with cheese, peppers and onions with mushrooms and cheese grits.
Whoever decided that Breakfast was a morning meal anyhow?

I worked for a Yankee once that asked me to bring him a bowl of grits from the cafeteria......
......and he wanted 4 packets of Sweet-N-Low to mix in them.
When I was growing up, my Grandmother would fix Soaky Biscuits, open face biscuit with butter, sugar and coffee poured over the top of it in a saucer. You old timers remember this I know.
I told my wife's CNA what I had for dinner and she wanted to know if I put sugar in my grits?...Yankees 
Salt Butter and Cheese and sometimes I crumble several slices of bacon..Damn now I'm hungry!
