Well with the politics of GA becoming what they have become and not looking to go back anytime soon, I believe Alabama will be my very near future home.

We will retire on 6/30/2026 and want to move to lake Eufaula. Now we will look mainly on the Alabama side. Cheaper property taxes too.
Spent part of my youth on the backwater down there, slower pace of life and great fishing.
I hope that the millions of Libs that are flooding out of the northern states and turning Georgia into exactly what they are fleeing from don't follow you.
