It's going to be funny if the long awaited (at least by me) subcompact-size carry gun that takes 226 mags is a $200 Taurus.

Yeah I have read they definitely work, and the cheaper Mecgars do as well.

if you get a 709 you'll play hell even finding extra mags. and it only comes with one. so bad they're going on ebay for 100 plus.

I spoke with the taurus rep while at adventure outdoors a while back and he said that mecgar was making them now and they would be available soon. I saw a bunch at academy the other day as well as online at buds and a couple other online vendors so they are starting to trickle down.

Had my G2 outside did some quick shooting with her and again...she performed flawlessly. Ran 4 quick magazines of Winchester white box 115gr ....dead on.
