the 10-22, whats so special ?

besides whats already been mentioned, for a lot of people it's the first rifle they ever shot, a gun they grew up shooting, one that was passed down to them, the gun they made there first kill with. it's an american classic whats not to like.

i think its a decent semi auto 22
but more than anything, they make more aftermarket stuff for the 10/22 than anything else i can think of
i myself, have a marlin. i paid 100 dollars for it NIB after a 25 dollar rebate. no issues with it

Why a 10-22? Because they work and everyone seems to make accessories for them.
This about sums it up. So many accessories for them. More so then many other guns.
It's a shooting mans Barbie doll, really.
Thats really the truth. They make more accessories for the 10/22 than they do the barbie doll!
OK so if your were going to get your very first 10/22 which would you go get?
The basic model. Cause I doubt you will leave it stock.
