First thing in the morning. At two dollars a shot I probably won't do much more than a function check with a few mags.
Honestly I really like GI 1911s even more than a lot of souped up models including the TRP I have. So I am pretty happy I can keep this thing pretty base and light. The lighter the better IMHO. I don't really need match sights. It is only a pistol after all.Are you going to stick with the GI sights or go adjustable?
ouch! that hurts my wallet just thinking about that lol!
Yeah I agree. But if I have to use it then it will have been worth every penny.ouch! that hurts my wallet just thinking about that lol!
Well bad news and some good news. The 460 rowland conversion didn't drop into my Springfield TRP. The good news it dropped in just fine to my Colt series 80 MKIV government model.

Ha ha,Well, ya know, with the .460 there's no need for a double-tap, so there's a savings right there!
That is a interesting question. I never considered a POI change on this thing.I gotcha, I was just wondering if adujstables would be needed for the 460 vs POI from the .45
