What range are you using in Jefferson?

You will probably fail. That seems to be the You Tube theme... try and kill a HP and end up having to admit that they simply work.



Curious as to what failed on them. I'll admit I never put 500 rounds through any of mine in a single session, but they are too dang simple to have all that many problems. The only hiccups I ever saw with the carbines was using the ProMag extended magazines.

As a blow back design, I'm guessing they just gummed up.

It’s private property. Nowadays I mostly just use it for lowlight courses, as the range in Aragon doesn’t allow me to shoot after 5pm.

The pistols are based on older designs from pre-cold war thus making the design proven, but the rifles at the price they offer could easily be hit or miss

They are direct blowback..what old Cold War design are you referring to?

The STRESS Course on March 16 requires a handgun and a carbine. Someone could attend that and run a Hi Point handgun AND a carbine! Double Trouble!

The Jackson Co Sheriff is a friend of the property owner. She has been wanting for me to meet her up there, with the intent of having some of her Deputies attend some of my courses up there, and/or having me conduct some training for the JCSO. I’m a little fuzzy on the details, I haven’t actually talked to her myself.
