Why is it not for left handed?

Gasses expelled from the cylinder/barrel joint. There's a cover one the left side, which I assume would do an adequate job of blocking it.
Left-handed, you'd probably get burns on your left forearm, holding the foregrip (on the long gun version).
Don't know how bad that would be from 12g. Or how good a seal they could get

If you look closely at the second picture, there’s a blast shield on the right side as well.

I figured there was. Doesn’t make sense to put one on one side and not the other......even for Russians.

SBS that puppy. Cut the barrel down to 8” or so, and the stock down to a pistol grippish configuration. A true shotgun revolver!
