It comes down to what u want. If ur looking for the old forester birthday bourbon or Russell 15, you will need to be the first 15 or 20 in line. That starts sundown the night before.

People arriving by midnight was about 65 in line. I got there at 645am and was 178 in line.

They must have had about 1000 bottles that day and I got me some really good ones

I figured that was the case. That Tower is not too far from where I work and almost everytime I've stopped in to see the latest and greatest bottles, Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace are about the only "special bottles" I see. Every blue moon, I'll see them carry Blantons or EH Taylor.

We had a great time. It was enjoyable learning the different processes and the history of the different distilleries.

125 proof Barrel Select that is only sold in the gift shop. The most I've ever paid per ml of bourbon. $30 for 200ml. My wife actually talked me into buying it.
