I've got an unopened bottle of the Dareinger. Good stuff. Smooth and a little on the sweet side.
Blanton's is the one that really irritates me. It's literally a $60-70 bottle. Not so good as to be worth more than that. IF you come across a bottle they have it marked up to $200-300. I would never pay anything close to that for that bottle. I like Eagle Rare. It was scarce for a while and places were asking $70-80 a bottle. Not a chance. My local bottle shop seems to be keeping it in stock now and are selling it for $42. I can live with that.Lucked out yesterday and it was Blanton's day. $63 for a bottle, 1 per person. Guess I'm checking in my suitcase.
Only a few actual distilleries in Lexington, mainly James E Pepper and Dark Arts.
Here for work, not bourbon trail, otherwise I'd be going to many more
I wouldn't buy Blanton's if it wasn't $63. Definitely not for $100.Blanton's is the one that really irritates me. It's literally a $60-70 bottle. Not so good as to be worth more than that.
