The Senate MUST ratify any treaty and they can't even pass a budget. What makes you think they will approve the UN Arms Treaty?

The UN Small arms treaty is an Ace in the hole should the dog and pony show not work on the federal level....and Trust me it will pass the Senate.

Because their priorities are extremely F-Ed up. For example, we just postponed the fiscal cliff goodies (which should be our priority) until march while our "elected leaders" try to strip us of our rights.
We're 16.5 TRILLION dollars in debt and our government is focusing on taking away our rights? This is why it is a possibility.

If it does come to this, it will not be, for the most part, US law enforcement/soldiers taking your guns. The United Nations WILL be called into do the enforcement. Would YOU trust a man's family to take his guns?
