About 15 years ago I killed a huge horsefly while it was tapped into the back of my knee. It hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes.

Last year I pulled its fang out from behind my knee with a pair of hemostats. It was well over a half inch long, with a cyst around it. I didn’t notice it riding along back there behind my knee, where I couldn’t see it, until some castor oil loosened it up.
