Thick weird 9mm brass

I was loading and had a stoppage on the press. This is what I found.

So I took it to the band saw.

Never seen anything like before.

It's a 380 stuck down in the 9mm. Haha.

have seen them before, forget the exact reason they do this, but the loads are reduced to make up for the loss of case capacity so its still safe.
weird for sure!

They are easy to spot if you inspect your brass before loading. Just throw that crap in the recycle bin.

I have found a few of those at the range. I thought the same thing, WEIRD!! Looks like a Freedom Munitions brass on steroids. I just throw them in the scrap bucket.
