This is why you don't buy from Walmart.

They aren't bad optics, I used a TRS 25 on several ARs and 22s without issues. But, that is total bull****. I have seen people purchase something they already had that was broke, and return it as damaged in shipping. Crappy people..

i only buy stuff from walmart.com that walmart stocks and has store pick-up and avoid the websites that use walmart as a middle man like the plaque

Just wanted to share my latest experience with walmart and overstock.com.

Recently I was given a Gift Card to walmart for my birthday so I decided that since I was fully stocked up on Ramen Noddles and Easy Mac, I would check out what type of Optics they had for my AK. We all know that the store selection they have is usually crap, so I checked out their website, and to my surprise they had multiple reflex's that caught my eye. After doing a little research, I decided on the Bushnell TRX red dot reflex. I have heard rumors that these perticular reflex's had a bad wrap for not being able to withstand prolonged recoil of larger calibers, and that it could not live up to the heat of my ultimak mounted on my AK. I contacted bushnell, and they said they weren't aware of any issues like this and offered full service if i had any problems. Fair enough. I went ahead and did the expedited shipping because I am extremely impatient, and was eager to test this out and write up a performance review on how it worked out. To my surprise this is what showed up in the mail 3 days later. The package had been Re-taped together, and when I opened it, I had a hard time taking the removable cover off. Turns out someone super-glued a bad optic, which doesn't even appear to be the same Bushnell one, back together. The actual glass was missing, as long as a few screws and the cap was cracked from someone else trying to pry it off before me. And for the icing on the cake, the whole package was shipped to me in a Wounded Warrior Project box. I tried taking it to my local Walmart to show them this crap that they had sent me, and the manager on duty told me they could not issue me a refund because the website used a third party to order from, and would have to contact overstock.com to sort out the issue. Now I had to wait for them to email me a shipping label to send the package back, and I will receive a full refund in 7-10 business days. Thanks Walmart.com and Overstock.com for this lovely experience. Looks like its more Ramen Noodles for me, and an optic-less ak for a few more weeks....View attachment 408717 View attachment 408722 View attachment 408724 View attachment 408725 View attachment 408726 View attachment 408727
I guess you buy another crappy site before you spend money on a real one time.. buy aimpoint or eotech, they are expensive for a reason!

So you bought from wal mart or overstock.com?

Walmart.online sells lots of (even worse) crap from third party retailers, sort of like Amazon only... worse. Anything listed as "also forsale" is non-wallymart.

Overstock.com used to be pretty good, when they had a pretty good stable of retailers and vendors that needed to get rid of quality excess and dead stock. But it got its lunch eaten by Amazon, it ran out of investor's money and has been slowly spiraling down the drain for years. Now all you find there are seconds and refirbs (crap). Probably the only reason they are still around is the lifeline they have thru Walmart, where they can eek out enough money from the people indifferent or clueless of the junk they get. Web search for "overstock reviews" or problems and you can read horror stories like the OP's fore evah...

I find it hard to be empathetic with OP, you bought a knock-off EOtech from Overstock via Walmart. Remember you get what you pay for... LOL!
